Bodegas y viñedos 17 Filas wanted to incorporate the greatness of Ronda’s terroir and that is the reason why we used grapes from the finca of “Los Frontones” in order to produce this wine, as well as the impeccable workshop of “Excelencia wine cellars” and the enological experience and reputation of Juan Manuel Vetas.

The grape varieties Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon create a Mediterranean wine with French reminiscence.

After the controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the aging of 6 months in independent French oak barrels, we proceed with the blending of the wines with the exact proportions (90:10) in order to highlight the fruitiness of the Cabernet Franc, accompanied by the spiced nuance and warmth of the Cabernet Sauvignon.

The right touch of the bottle turns this mixture into a mature wine with interesting aromas of pasture, a true reflection of the landscape and character of the city of Ronda.

 Cabernet Franc:

Originally it is a red grape variety from Bordeaux, but it is as well widespread in Spain. It produces very smooth and elegant wines with a very intense purple color (bright ruby red) when they are young; aromas of grass, red fruits like raspberries, blackcurrant and violet.

Cabernet Sauvignon:

Red variety appreciated worldwide to elaborate powerful long ageing wines. Originally from Bordeaux, it perfectly adapts to all climates and soils, as complicated as they might be.

             Year 2013
